The 4th World Taijiquan Championships, organized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), occurred in Singapore from August 21 to 28, 2024. The event drew athletes from 32 countries and regions. The U.S. National Taiji Team, led by Malee Khow, Vice President of the USA Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF), and coached by former World Taijiquan Champions Gao Jiamin and Zou Yunjian, delivered an outstanding performance. With 8 female and 8 male athletes competing in both competition and demonstration categories, Team USA secured fifth place overall, winning 3 gold medals in competition and 10 first-place awards in demonstration.

Jie Gu, one of the 16 National Taiji team members, won the following awards:
- 1st Prize in Women’s 32 Movements Taijiquan (Demonstration)
- 2nd Prize in Women’s 24 Movements Taijiquan (Demonstration)
- 3rd Prize in Women’s 42 Movements Taijijian (Demonstration)
