Harvest and Dedication: Tai Chi Club Highlights (Aug–Oct 2025)

The past few months have been busy yet deeply fulfilling for our Tai Chi Club.

In August, I attended several masters’ classes during the 1st Kungfu & Taiji Festival and earned the USAWKF National Coach Level B certification.

In early October, our club participated the BREC Mid-Autumn Festival, performing a Tai Chi fan routine and sharing free tea, mooncakes, and Tai Chi trial sessions with the public. Seeing so many people enjoy both the performance and the peaceful spirit of Tai Chi was truly rewarding.

Later that month, I competed at the 10th World Kungfu Championships, and won 1st place in 42 Movements Taijiquan and 2nd place in 42 Movements Taijijian. I also completed the Chinese Wushu Duan training, earning a 5th Duan certificate. Beyond the medals, what touched me most was reuniting with old friends, exploring nearby attractions together, and forming new alliances for future events.

Although the season was packed with events and left little spare time, one thing brought me special joy, i. e. reading heartfelt comments on our YouTube channel, where viewers expressed appreciation and asked for more tutorials. Even with a tight schedule and the wish to focus more on personal training, I still managed to record several new tutorial videos, sharing key technical points to support everyone’s learning journey.

On October 25, our new free outdoor practice sessions also begin! I truly hope that every medal I’ve earned and every certificate I’ve achieved can serve one purpose — to better inspire and help friends who believe in my passion, and to encourage everyone to believe in their own efforts as well. Together, let’s keep learning, sharing, and enjoying the art of Tai Chi — because joy grows stronger when shared.
